Basic training on key concepts, institutional change, gender equality and Gender Equality plans: Institutional change GEP as a tool for institutional change

Topic: This session focused on the essential aspects of the Gender Equality Plan (GEP) process, covering requirements and recommended content areas. It emphasized the critical features institutional change should include to create an impactful transformation.

The training introduced key theoretical approaches, including the organisational and social approaches to institutional change in a gender context. It also explored the objectives of institutional change, positioning GEPs as a tool to drive this transformation. Participants were guided through the steps and core elements required for every effective GEP.
